The Segmented Woodturners Club has been holding bi-annual (every two years) symposiums dedicated to the art of segmented woodturning. We hope to continue this trend with the help of the club officers and volunteer members.

1st Symposium

The 1st Segmenting Symposium, with attendees from around the world, was a resounding success and became the driving force in segmenting.

The first-ever Segmented Turning Symposium - "Exploring Possibilities" was held at the Marc Adams School of Woodworking on November 14 - 16, 2008.

2nd Symposium

The 2nd Segmenting Symposium was held at Arrowmont in November 2010. It was called, "Exploring More Possibilities."

A commemorative DVD of the 2nd Symposium at Arrowmont has been produced and will be mailed to all members as they renew (as well as any new members) for their 2010/2011 membership.

3nd Symposium

The 3rd Segmenting Symposium will be held in South Lake Tahoe
in October 2012.
